It was warm for the first of the Saturday arvo Odyssey Angels training rides run by @forrestmountainbikeclub. Yesterday we started with a simple Super Loop and talked about handling roots in the wet - in February you never know what weather you’re going to get! Some years it’s wet, some years it’s hot 🤷♀️ It’s best just to practice riding in all conditions so you’re prepared. We are hosting training rides on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons in the lead up to the Odyssey. Check out the club Facebook page for more details - and please note that the upcoming events don’t always show in order of what’s actually next… 🙄
Do you ride an adaptive bike? Did you know there's an adaptive 17km course in the Odyssey this year? We'd love you come and ride our trails and have a good number of riders take part. Belated post from the Christmas breakup ride for the little bikers and the Forrest MTB Club! Thanks everyone for a fun ride, great to see so many kids on bikes in Forrest! And a reminder to always carry tools - the one ride for the year I didn’t and someone’s saddle came loose at the bottom of the hill… we were all guilty of thinking it’s just a 5km kids ride, not worth carrying anything… oops. 🤣 #loveforrest #rideforrest #forrestmtbclub
