Another fun session for women over 40! Everyone has their own reasons for trying mountain biking… today the answers ranged from “my partner rides and I’d like more confidence with ride with him” to “this seems less dangerous than my current hobby of riding horses” to “I’ve just moved here, I’m used to riding road bikes where I’m from and I miss riding my bike”. There’s some pretty basic stuff you can learn at the start that will set you up well for enjoying MTB. It is always a pleasure to introduce women of all ages to this awesome sport! #changeourgame #rideforrest #forrestmtbclub #exploremtbforrest #forrestmtbhire @changeourgame @exploremtbforrest @forrestmtbhire
Women’s Intermediate Night Club Ride! Last night we headed out along the Tiger Rail Trail, and dropped in at the top of Yaugher. A lap of Grasstrees and most of Marriners before we cut out onto Cemetery Rd and coasted back to town! Thanks to all who came! 😍 Intermediate night rides are every fortnight with beginner rides in between. Would love to see some beginners give it a go regularly - so good for your skills! #rideforrest #forrestmtbclub #yaugher #yaughertrails
DEECA are reshaping some corners on the top half of Sandman’s Slog today that aren’t quite right for our adaptive riders. There will be a detour in place that still allows access to Steam Donkey and Korac. Short notice but good work to get done! Please respect all closures.
